French hotel frontage with traditional shutters
The town of Evian on the shores of Lake Geneva is a beautiful small French town and has some immaculate buildings with traditional windows and shutters to keep out the cold.
During a trip to the Veka plant in Evian we were told that when the temperature drops to its lowest and the wind picks up it is possible for the lake water to be blown over onto the main road and any car left will covered in the morning. That’s why these shutters add style and practicality to the buildings.
At Rugby Double Glazing we can offer blinds set within the sealed units so they wont be affected by dirt or wind.
